Laurel
Growing up in a tiny suburb of Philadelphia, Laurel was a pint-sized art (and pony) enthusiast. She translated her early love of finger-painting and macaroni-gluing into a bachelor's degree in marketing with interests in art and graphic design. Realizing that her little tyke days are long gone, she has traded in her finger paint and construction paper for oil paint and canvas, and enjoys plastering the walls of her and her new husband’s home with her latest creations. Laurel currently heads the development of this new & improved Wellspring website, along with various other marketing and customer service duties.

Mikka
Born and raised in York, PA, Mikka dreamt of someday being the first person to walk on the moon. After her 3rd grade teacher crushed her dreams by telling her that this had already happened, she set her sights on heading Wellspring’s customer service department. After years of diligently working towards her dream, she achieved her goal and is now Wellspring’s customer service lead. We love the days when this American Idol fan comes in and updates us on all of this season’s drama. If you’re ever at a Kelly Clarkson concert, lookout for Mikka!

Stacy
A southern girl at heart, Stacy comes to us from Atlanta, GA via Memphis, TN. While we can’t always completely understand what she’s saying through her southern accent, we’re pretty sure that she knows her stuff. Her degree in retail merchandising, knack for interior design, and past experience as a retail buyer and showroom manager have been especially helpful in communicating with our sales reps, laying out our showrooms, and designing the interior of our new building in Lancaster, PA. She’s our go-to-girl when it comes to dreaming up brilliant new product ideas, solving merchandising problems, and making sure we’ve always got plenty of cake for everyone’s birthday.

Jon
Jon is the newest member of the Wellspring team and the only person in the office who can claim that he’s circled the world on a boat. Although his degree is in International Business, somehow he became our in-house I.T. guy, domestic purchasing agent, legal consultant, number-cruncher, data-driller, and that guy who makes you think “I wish I’d thought of that…” (there’s one in every office). As a former bartender, he’s the hit of every company party. At least that’s what we hear… none of us can remember much from our company parties. Nice job, Jon.

Cindy
As our witty, perky, and all-around fabulous Executive Vice President, Cindy’s young-at-heart personality has served us well. For example, she still thinks that a balanced breakfast consists of fresh-baked donuts and/or warm, doughy soft pretzels, so we here in the office look forward to the days when she brings in baked goods by the dozen. In her spare time she serves as secretary for the Gift Sales Manager Association, carts her kids around to soccer practice and horseback riding lessons, and spends weekends with her family on the Henry family’s very own one square foot of lighthouse beach property that they own in Newport, Rhode Island.

Curtis
If you ever need Curtis, the first place to check would be the conference room with the brand new large-screen HD plasma TV. Not there? Maybe check outside-- he might be messing around with our brand-spanking-new digital camera. No luck? Hmm… well as Wellspring’s Director of Supply Chain Management, he does spend a lot of time visiting vendors and showrooms in countries like Germany and China, so he’s gone from time to time. Rest assured that this Redskins fan does eat well no matter where he is—open his luggage and you’ll surely find cans of Spaghetti-O’s and Chef Boyardee. While traveling he does miss his wife and two young boys, but we here in the office love when he leaves because he always comes back telling us that we need whatever fantastic new gadgets and gizmos he saw overseas—hence the brand new digital camera and large-screen HD plasma TV. Now all we need is cable…

Trip
The son of Wellspring founder Joanne van Roden, Trip enjoys the perks of being President of Wellspring. We recently discovered that oftentimes when his appointment calendar says that he’s “busy” or “in a meeting”, he’s actually out on the tennis court with our Controller, Mark Moshos. We usually let it go, though, because together they’re the team that creates our paychecks.

Scotta
Picasso-who? That has-been has nothing on our resident art guru Scotta! This all-around design aficionado has had a hand in creating all of Wellspring’s best-selling products as well as designing Wellspring’s catalog, advertising, and other materials. Scotta also accompanies the rest of the Wellspring crew on their excursions around the world in search of fabulous new product ideas and artistic inspiration. Be sure to look for fantastic new designs from Scotta on Wellspring products in the years to come!
