Retail stores can now generate online sales from Wellspring's retail website.
Here's how it works:
1. Consumers visit www.WellspringGift.com, click Shop, and shop online as usual (retail prices).
2. Once they're finished ordering, Shopatron decides which Wellspring retailer gets to fulfill the order.
3. The selected retailer picks, packs, and ships the order to the consumer.
4. Shopatron reimburses the retailer for the retail price of the goods plus shipping charges--all charged to the customer's credit card when he/she ordered.
Remember--only Wellspring retailers who have registered with Shopatron can fulfill online orders.

FAQ:
1. I'm already a Wellspring retailer. How can I participate? Visit www.shopatron.com/signup and you'll be ready to fulfill orders from Shopatron. Shopatron must sign you up for this--we here at Wellspring can't sign you up.
2. I'm not a Wellspring retailer yet. How do I get started? Visit www.shopatron.com/signup and fill out all the necessary info. You'll need to place your first order with Wellspring before you can fill orders from Shopatron, so you'll need to create a retailer account on www.WellspringGift.com and place your first order. Shopatron has a list of bestselling items, so you can see what you should order.
3. Can a Shopatron customer pick up his/her order from my store? We're working on it. We're in the process of recruiting enough Shopatron retailers to instate in-store pickup, but we still need a couple more. So as soon as enough retailers sign up, you'll be able to gain new foot traffic to your store. And who knows what kind of impulse add-on purchases you'll get from more store traffic! In the meantime, you'll gain new internet customers.
4. How do I fill orders from Shopatron? After you've signed up at www.shopatron.com/signup, you can "bid" on orders. You're not bidding in an auction sense--you're just acknowledging that you have stock of the items on the order. In a few days when all bids are in, Shopatron decides which retailer gets to fill the order. They decide mainly on geographic proximity to the customer. The selected retailer picks the items from the store's stock, packs them up, enters the tracking information into Shopatron, and ships the items to the customer. About twice a month, Shopatron reimburses retailers for the products sold and the shipping charges.
5. Do I have to run credit cards? No. Shopatron runs all credit cards and deals with all chargebacks, fraud, and other issues.
6. Can I bid on items that I don't have in stock if I know I'm getting a shipment in soon? No--please don't. You must be able to hold the items in your hand in order to bid on an order. You cannot under any circumstances bid on an order for which you don't have the items in stock--even if you expect to get a shipment in soon. To do so may cause cancellation of your Shopatron membership.
7. So Wellspring isn't fulfilling online retail orders? We appreciate the loyalty of our retailers and our goal is to give you as many sales as possible. If and only if no retailer accepts an order do we fulfill it.
8. What exactly is Shopatron? Shopatron is a California-based company that connects online consumers with the products they're looking for. They provide a much needed service to many manufacturers like Wellspring who aren't set up to sell their products at retail to consumers. Shopatron provides the web store and supervises the e-commerce transaction from start to finish.
